This past Christmas my Mom visited from Scotland and we all celebrated the holidays at my sister's in Thousand Oaks. This time of year really makes you appreciate family and friends. We all had a great time together. I spent most of the holidays bouncing back and forth from the OC to Thousand Oaks, mixing in some rides and errands along the way. My goal was to spend as much time as possible with the family before heading to Utah for a New Year's snowboarding adventure.
This was Kendyll's first Christmas and third for Kaelyn. Although it seemed like the first for Kaelyn as she was so excited about the prospects of seeing Santa! My Mom even made her famous jelly-coolwhip-m&ms dessert that was pretty much finished in one sitting. The turkey dinner and other fixings were awesome--thanks Morandis!
Susan, Mum and I got a chance to spend a few hours together one night. We drove over the Santa Monica Mountains to Malibu where we stopped along the coast for some sunset photos followed by dinner at the Neptune's Net. Great chill spot for grub right along the highway.
